Unmasking the Impostor:

spotting and sorting impostor syndrome

17 July 2018

This session discussed the irrational but very ‘real’ self -doubt feeling known as Impostor Syndrome. It facilitated self-awareness, offered insight and provided tactics. Most importantly it opened up a conversation!
The session covered:
  • What is Impostor Syndrome
  • How to spot and sort it
  • Owning achievement
  • Getting rational with emotions
  • Being you in a ‘comparing world’

From the event:

Massive ‘yay’ to this event – cleared so much of the feelings I have had all my life!

Trisha was very engaging and clearly knowledgeable in her field. Her style was informal in the best way.

Thank you so much for another great evening! A great presentation by a brilliant facilitator. I feel more confident and have a better outlook already!

An excellent and useful session with the perfect balance of theory and activities.

Came away feeling motivated and inspired. Great to hear other people’s thoughts and feelings on the topic. Thank you!

What a great event tonight! Was having such a hard day at work and nearly didn’t attend, so glad I did. Re-energised!

Felt better that others are in the same boat. Friendly group.

Made me feel more human! Also not to put such high demands on myself.

Great event. It’s nice to talk about a subject that is difficult to bring up at work (a male-dominated environment).

This was just the top-up on this subject that I needed. Trisha was a great presenter.

Entertaining speaker on a very interesting and emotive subject.

This was my first event – thank you for having me and making me feel so welcome. I though Trisha was a fabulous speaker – so insightful and inspirational 🙂 I look forward to future events.

Great location and food. Enjoyed the presentation greatly.
