# If part-time work is the answer?

# Whether modern women can have it all?

Meet your session leader: Dr Giselle Goodwin. Author ‘Can Women Really Have It All?’

My area of expertise is women, work and wellbeing. I am a Gex X mother to two teenage girls. I grew up in Canada in the 1980s but have lived in the UK for the last 30 years – hence the peculiar mid-Atlantic accent!

My first degree was in pharmacy and I was a business owner for 20 years: I owned a recruitment company and an online pharmacy and sold both those businesses in 2018.

I then went back to university and gained a PhD in 2022 on the subject of women, work and wellbeing.

I now speak on this subject and my aim is to connect with communities of likeminded women to improve both work and well-being for the generations which follow us.
