Permission to Play, Relax and Release Our Creativity

Remind ourselves of the joy that comes when we give ourselves ‘permission’.

  • We will be leaving any judgement or awkwardness at the virtual door and be invited to move our bodies to music, giving our brains a well-earned break

  • Releasing tension and supporting your nervous system to settle

  • Experiencing something a little different and creating space for our own creativity

  • Exploring techniques to use when life feels a little serious, so we can invite in a greater level of lightness and laughter into our daily lives.

Prep required:

Whilst the session can be done seated if needed, I’ll be encouraging those who are able to move around their space.

It’s therefore recommended to have a glass of water or juice to hand, ensure you have enough room to move comfortably, and clear anything from the floor that could be a trip hazard.

If possible, using speakers rather than a headset will also give you more freedom to move.

This session is perfect for you if:

#  You’re open to exploring a slightly different approach to connecting with the wisdom in the body.

#  This particular session has been designed to support women who want to relax and invite a little more joy, laughter and connection into their lives.

Meet your session leader: Davina Houlton (TALK People Development)

Davina is a leadership and team coach and facilitator who is passionate about supporting individuals to listen more deeply to their inner wisdom.

While much of Davina’s corporate career has focused on traditional development, she expanded her practice in 2024 by qualifying as an Embodiment Coach Facilitator. This approach introduces clients and groups to simple, effective exercises designed to foster a connection with inner wisdom and creativity.

These techniques also help release physical tension, allowing the nervous system to settle and recalibrate. Davina is delighted to share these transformative practices with this group.

The Human Leader: How to thrive in the Age of AI

NB: This event is postponed to later in the year.

We’re living in a time where we are becoming more disconnected than ever – driven by ever-accelerating technology and fear-based leadership.

This session offers an antidote and a different way forward: human-centred leadership.

Human leadership starts with a simple yet powerful belief – that people do their best work when they feel seen, heard and genuinely valued. It shapes how leaders behave, make decision, and build cultures where people can think clearly, contribute fully, and grow with confidence.

Rooted in the idea that leadership is both a responsibility and a privilege, this session explores the skills that truly matter – and are rarely taught. Skills such as knowing yourself, listening without interruption or agenda, recognising contribution, and leading with care without lowering standards.

At a time when AI can replicate tasks and outputs, it is human connection, trust, and relationship-building that will continue to set great leaders apart. This is human leadership.

Negotiate Like a Woman: Why Traditional Negotiation Advice Fails Women, and What Works Instead

Most negotiation advice assumes a level playing field. It isn’t.

Research shows women face systematic barriers that men don’t; they’re far more likely to experience backlash when they behave assertively, especially when asking for money.

In this session, you’ll learn the evidence-based strategies that account for these realities, so you can negotiate effectively, and secure your true worth, without risking relationships.

You’ll leave with practical frameworks you can use immediately, whether you’re negotiating salary, client rates, the scope of your role, or simply who is going to cook supper or pick up the kids!

Knowing your worth means nothing if you can’t negotiate for it!

At this session, you will learn:

– to understand the research behind why women face different negotiation challenges, and stop blaming yourself for past outcomes

– evidence-based strategies that work for women

Walk away with practical frameworks you can use immediately in salary discussions, client negotiations, or difficult conversations!

This session is perfect for you if:

# You’re a professional woman (employed or entrepreneur) who feels undervalued.

# You’ve tried to ask for more before, but been pushed back.

# You’re holding back, for fear of rocking the boat.

This session will kick start your journey to securing your true worth!
