Wardrobe MOT – how to maintain, organise and tidy your wardrobe for the new season

This session will help inspire you to have a declutter of your wardrobe and be able to put some systems in place to make getting dressed easier on a daily basis.

At the session, you will learn to:

# Step by step guide to declutter, organise and tidy your wardrobe

# Tips to help you buy more mindfully

# Interactive Q&A ‘lose or reuse’ where attendees can bring along an item of clothing they are unsure about for either fresh ideas to wear it OR be persuaded to let it go and let someone else receive joy from it!

Prep required:

If you would like to participate in the ‘lose or reuse’ section it would be good to have a list of those people in advance and a brief description of what the item is i.e., patterned shirt, dressy top then I can think through in advance some styling options. (stylesolutionsbysarah@gmail.com).

Meet your session leader: Marie Smith – SUCCESSMITH

As the original founder of Aspiring Women back in 2013, it is always an honour and a great  pleasure to facilitate the occasional Aspiring Women event.

I enjoy working with Ginette and Kelly as co-leaders, to create and make these monthly events happen, where women come together to support other women.  The icing on the cake is that it enables us to regularly donate to our chosen charity, The Girls Network. That is what  I see as a win: win situation and it warms my heart.

The rest of the time I run my own leadership coaching and development business, SUCCESSMITH, which I founded in 2012.  I feel fortunate to do the work I love partnering with either individuals or teams to support them to overcome professional and personal barriers that may be getting in the way of team living the life they choose.

Each year I create and facilitate an open programme called Blueprint for Success, which is an accessible to all. The next programme starts on 21 January 2024. Contact me if you are curious to know more details or want to chat about whether it is suitable for you.

I am looking forward to you joining our session on 17 October and us doing some great work together.

Meet your session leader: Jackie Goddard – Power To Speak

I am a former fashion designer and recovering actor, a speaker, speaker coach and podcast host.

I’ve spent 30 years working as an actor, director, facilitator, and vocal coach having performed in and produced theatre for the Edinburgh and London fringes and worked behind the scenes on various productions for The Royal Shakespeare Company, The National Theatre and West End. I continue to facilitate acting, directing, improvisation, and voice workshops, most recently for the British Stunt Register, running a series of acting courses for trainee stunt performers.

In 2021 I set up my company Power to Speak to coach entrepreneurs, business leaders and teams to make them excited about sharing their ideas and develop their POWER TO SPEAK. Clients include Gymshark, YMCA, BCP and Hampshire County Councils, Actisence, and Civica.

I’m founder of Speak Like a Speaker Club, where individuals can share and practice talks, presentations, and ideas. And also, of a LIVE stream podcast called Speaking About Speaking where I speak with other speakers and speaker coaches about speaking.
